    Joseph Cuffari

    Joseph Cuffari was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1981 and the Barrister’s Society of Nova Scotia in 2004. He has over 42 years of legal experience dealing with Family Law and Mediation, Residential and Commercial Real Estate and Wills and Estates areas of law. Joseph’s clients recognize his attention to detail, his “hands on personal approach” to all his files, and his ability to give 110 percent in order to get the work done in a timely manner.

    Deborah Griffiths-Cuffari

    Deborah Griffiths-Cuffari conducts legal research for Mr. Cuffari and assists him in interviews and preparation of documents for lengthy trials.

    Karen lawrence

    Karen Lawrence has been Mr. Cuffari’s legal assistant for many years. With extensive training in Real Estate and Wills and Estates, Karen carries out title searches for the firm, manages the firm’s real estate and wills and estates files.

    Danielle Cable

    Danielle developed strong civil and family litigation skills during her articled clerkship at a busy rural law firm on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. She was excited to join Cuffari Law as an associate in April 2023 and is now growing her general practice assisting clients with all manner of family law matters, real estate transactions, wills and estate planning, and immigration law needs. Danielle was raised in East Hants and Colchester counties and splits her time between Truro and Windsor. She completed her Bachelor of Arts at Saint Mary’s University, graduating with double major in Sociology and Criminology. She received her law degree from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. In her free time, she enjoys reading (especially science fiction) and spending time outdoors with her spouse, Callie. She has played rugby since 2009 and remains strongly connected to the Enfield Rugby Football Club.

    Phyllis Perry

    Phyllis joined the Cuffari team in 2020 as paralegal to Mr. Cuffari, overseeing Family Law, Wills, Estates and Corporate areas of the practice. Phyllis has extensive experience working in law firms as well as a successful career as a Judicial Assistant at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, followed by serving as the Deputy Registrar of Bankruptcy. She is also an administrative Justice of the Peace presiding over weddings.
